While at the adventurer’s guild, Kazuma was approached by a group of women who pleaded with him to marry them. Among them was Sylvia, who was believed to be deceased after the events of the film.
After waking up screaming, Kazuma realized it had all been a dream. The next morning, Darkness, Aqua, and Megumin talked about the alcohol they had obtained from the Crimson Demon Village. However, Darkness revealed she had thrown the empty bottles away. Aqua then inquired if Kazuma had consumed the alcohol, but he paid no attention as he gazed out the window and commented on the weather.
In Konosuba season 3 episode 1, he suddenly screamed, snapping him back to reality. He admitted that he had no idea what Aqua was talking about. The group then headed to the adventurer’s guild, where they enjoyed a feast thanks to the reward they received from the Crimson Demon Village.

Megumin then inquired about his parents’ thoughts on his decision to join the faith, subtly trying to dissuade him. Upon reaching home, the group was met by Chris who observed their cheerful demeanor. Konosuba season 3 episode 1 had Aqua recognizing a mallet that Kazuma had found on the body of the monster’s previous victim. As they bickered over it, gold coins spilled out, leaving them all delighted and richer.
Nonetheless, upon her departure, it was uncovered that she had taken the magic mallet from them, causing great distress to Kazuma. Shortly after, a guest arrived at their residence, who was none other than Hagen, the butler of Darkness’ family. He disclosed that Darkness’ family was on the verge of losing their prestige and presented her with a letter that left her stunned. The episode concluded with the revelation that Kazuma had been invited to a dinner with Iris, the first princess of the Kingdom of Belzerg, much to Darkness’ displeasure.

It also effectively progresses the main storylines and foreshadows future developments, demonstrated through Kazuma and Megumin’s conversation by the campfire and Kazuma’s invitation from the royal family.
The initial episode of the series continues to impress with its ability to utilize every moment effectively, a quality that has garnered much praise for the isekai anime in the past. Despite being a recurring compliment, it must be reiterated that this release effortlessly captures the familiar pacing and style seen in previous seasons on television.
