Krispy Kreme has revealed plans to release a line of donuts inspired by the beloved TV show Friends. Needless to say, we are incredibly thrilled about this news.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Friends, one of the most beloved TV sitcoms of all time, a special launch has been announced. Along with the release, fans can look forward to four new donut flavors, each named after a popular element from the show, available in stores.
The brand-new lineup of donuts includes:
- Friends – The Original Glazed donut is topped with chocolate icing, sprinkles, and white chocolate for a delicious finish.
- During our coffee break, we enjoyed a delectable treat topped with caffè latte flavored icing, chocolate swirls, frosting, and a white chocolate topping.
- Our classic ring donut, known as “How You Doin’?”, is coated in purple icing and topped with a delicious mango and passionfruit flavored frosting.
- Trifle is a delectable treat consisting of a donut filled with strawberry and custard, adorned with chocolate curls and green sprinkles on top.
Regrettably, if you are interested in trying out these new delicious treats, you may have to take a flight as they are currently exclusively available in the United Kingdom. They will be available for purchase starting June 17 until July 21, giving customers ample opportunity to get their hands on them.
The donuts are packaged in special Friends-themed wrapping and will also include a sticker sheet featuring famous quotes and memorable scenes from the show.
Noted for its inventive collaborations, Krispy Kreme recently launched a collection of southern-inspired donuts in collaboration with country legend Dolly Parton.
In April, the company released a limited edition solar eclipse donut to commemorate the significant event. The Christmas donuts from last year, inspired by Buddy the Elf, are also unforgettable.
Right now, customers in the US have the opportunity to get their hands on Krispy Kreme’s latest offering: donut dots. These are mini donut bites that come in a variety of flavors, including some of the chain’s most beloved options.
