KSI’s highly anticipated boxing match against Dillon Danis has been unexpectedly postponed due to KSI contracting a severe illness that he describes as unprecedented in his life.
Initially scheduled for March 29 in Manchester, this fight against former Bellator MMA competitor Danis will now be delayed, with no new date announced yet. This situation echoes a previous incident where Danis withdrew from their planned January 2023 bout only ten days prior, prompting KSI to select FaZe Temperrr as a substitute.
In a statement, Misfits Boxing confirmed that updates regarding the fight will be released soon, assuring fans that all purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event. Meanwhile, KSI has shared worrying details about his health condition, revealing he is experiencing significant struggles.

KSI Shares Struggles as He Prepares for Danis
In a recent video update shared on X, KSI candidly expressed his inability to train or promote the fight due to his illness. His words were raw and illustrative of his condition.
“The fight against Danis on March 29 just isn’t feasible. Despite my best efforts, my body has completely given up. Right now, I’m confined to bed, on antibiotics, and the recovery process has been uphill. I’m coughing up greenish, yellow mucus consistently, ” KSI disclosed.
He elaborated on his struggles, mentioning daily headaches and a lack of stamina preventing him from training effectively. Additionally, he highlighted the troubling symptoms of losing his sense of taste and smell, admitting, “I’m essentially incapacitated.” This ailment has lingered for almost three weeks, prompting worries about his health as he stated, “I’ve never felt so ill for such an extended period, which is disheartening.”

KSI retaliated, clarifying, “I haven’t pulled out; it’s a postponement. Your reckoning is just delayed.” In response, Danis continued to deride him, stating, “Olajide, you pulled out. The entire event is postponed, not just little baseball games.”
Olajide, you pulled out. Ended the whole event. Little league baseball games get postponed, not multi-million dollar fight cards.https://t.co/hPXsdjsoQC
