KSI Responds to Conor McGregor’s Fight Challenge Following Insults on His Music

YouTube sensation KSI is throwing some harsh words at MMA icon Conor McGregor after the fighter expressed his desire to take him down due to what he deemed KSI’s “nonsense” track, ‘Thick of It.’

An unexpected rivalry is brewing between KSI and one of the most prominent figures in mixed martial arts, marking yet another chapter in the YouTuber’s journey following his promotional efforts for Lunchly.

After teaming up with stars like Logan Paul and MrBeast to endorse the Lunchables alternative, KSI dropped his new single, ‘Thick of It’ — which has not exactly garnered positive feedback.

The internet has been relentless in criticizing KSI over the song, which many have likened to the kind of music found in Fortnite.

Prominent figures from all corners have joined in on the ridicule, including IShowSpeed, Drake, and now, Conor McGregor, who stated in a recent interview that he would “fight him for that bulls**t song he released alone!”

KSI didn’t hold back when responding to McGregor on Twitter, labeling the fighter an “idiot.” Four days later, during an interview with Misfits Boxing presenter Biel, he further articulated his thoughts on McGregor.

“I feel like he brings shame to all of Ireland,” KSI remarked. “He’s a disgrace to his own family, and honestly, it’s just embarrassing. I think he’s a total embarrassment… He’s nothing at this point, yet he walks around like he’s the best, which he isn’t.”

Furthermore, KSI appeared to accept McGregor’s challenge, expressing his interest in pursuing “big fights” in 2025.

However, he remains skeptical about McGregor actually stepping into the ring, dismissing the possibility as “just not gonna happen” and labeling the Irish star a “pointless human being” who is “wasting everyone’s time.”

KSI is not the only internet figure to have clashed with McGregor. Notably, KSI’s chief rival, Jake Paul, has long sought a match against McGregor for several years — yet despite his best efforts to provoke a confrontation, nothing has resulted from it.
