KSI’s Reaction to IShowSpeed’s Harsh Critique on His Song: “Quit Music!”

During a FaceTime conversation with KSI, IShowSpeed took a jab at the YouTuber’s latest track, leading KSI to react with threats of physical retaliation.

KSI, who is both a YouTuber and musician, unveiled his new single ‘Thick of It’ featuring Trippie Redd on October 3. However, the song has garnered a fair amount of criticism since its release.

Listeners have voiced their disapproval, with even Drake humorously suggesting that Adin Ross should play the “banger”on his stream, while Jake Paul labeled it as “terrible.”

On October 8, IShowSpeed connected with KSI through FaceTime during a live broadcast to provide his feedback on the song, which led to a heated exchange.

At first, Speed feigned enjoyment of the song, singing along enthusiastically. Yet, he quickly reversed course, pausing the track and telling KSI, “This is so f**king terrible! Just stop making music!” This caused KSI to abruptly end the call.

Later, Speed reached out to KSI once more, claiming his earlier comments were simply a joke: “I’m just messing around, bro! Chill! Seriously, I enjoy your music. I honestly sit in my room listening to the Talk Tuah podcast while drinking Prime and enjoying your tracks.”

In response, a clearly irritated KSI remarked, “You’re just taking the mickey! This is strictly TikTok material! It’s nonsense! I can’t even define what nonsense is, man. You’re just taking the mickey!”

The streamer then turned around to commend ‘Thick of It,’ urging KSI to perform it. “Alright. If I laugh, I’ll hang up. Go on, sing it! I promise not to laugh,” he insisted. “I’ll keep a straight face, I swear.”

After a moment of reluctance, KSI began to perform a few lines, only for Speed to erupt in laughter. “Man, I’m going to beat your ass,” KSI threatened the 19-year-old. “Those huge nostrils of yours! I can’t wait to smack you! You ridiculous motherf**ker.”

“The next time I see you, I’m going to beat you up, and there’s nothing you can do to stop me! You can’t take me on,” KSI yelled, while Speed continued to chuckle and played the song at a volume that eventually drowned out KSI’s threats until KSI hung up.

Earlier that same day, KSI addressed the criticism of his new single via Instagram, stating that it has become “fashionable to dislike” him and urging “dimwitted fans” to move on.
