This article will first examine some of the actions Kurama took in the original Naruto series and the sequel series before discussing the reason for the comparison. This will provide a framework for understanding the comparison.

Kurama’s involvement in the attack on Konohagakure was one of the earliest events recorded. At the time, Kushina was pregnant with Naruto and Minato held the position of Hokage.

Despite the immense power of the Nine-Tailed Beast, Minato took it upon himself to confront and protect the village. Despite the overwhelming odds, he succeeded in saving the village. Unfortunately, this heroic act ultimately led to the sacrifice of both Minato and Kushina, who gave their lives to protect their son Naruto and their fellow shinobi. Ultimately, it was Kurama who caused the death of Minato.

Ever since becoming the Nine-Tailed Beast Jinchuriki, Naruto was required to constantly interact with Kurama. Initially, the Tailed Beast showed hostility towards Naruto and did not accept or acknowledge him. However, as time passed, their relationship grew and they formed a strong bond. They became inseparable and witnessing Kurama’s death was one of the most emotional moments in the sequel series.

In summary, just as Kurama killed Minato and formed a strong bond with his son Naruto, in the Dragon Ball series, Piccolo also killed Goku and developed a close relationship with his son Gohan. Now, Piccolo is watching over Gohan’s daughter Pam, just as Kurama is watching over Naruto’s daughter Himawari.

Both Kurama and Piccolo share many similarities in the roles they play within the narrative. It will be intriguing to witness how Kurama’s role evolves as the series continues.
