During a recent episode of Jung Hyung Don’s YouTube show, the entertainer revealed the emotional reason behind her choice to personally pay for her older brother’s entire wedding ceremony.

During the honest interview, Jung Hyung Don fondly recalled Kwon Eun Bi’s journey to stardom, specifically highlighting her unforgettable bikini top performance at the ‘WATER BOMB SEOUL 2023’ festival.

Reflecting on her journey, Kwon Eun Bi remarked, “Everything has changed completely. I gained so much popularity after that. I guess you never know what lies ahead.”

“I felt the need to shift the spotlight onto my performance rather than my appearance or body. And the thought has been weighing on me quite heavily,”she shared.

Financial Independence During Trainee Days

During her time as a trainee, Kwon Eun Bi shocked many by revealing her battle for financial independence.

It was revealed that she worked part-time at an internet café on weekends in order to support herself.

“I was 24 years old at that time and I was dependent on my parents for financial support until then. I felt awful about getting my parents’ financial support until that age,”the singer candidly remarked.

Despite the difficulties she faced, Kwon Eun Bi was comforted by her family’s constant backing.

Acknowledging her parents’ changing views of her career, she expressed gratitude and appreciation.

“They are thrilled. They were strongly against me pursuing this career in the past, but now they couldn’t be happier.”

One of the most poignant revelations was when Kwon Eun Bi shared about her older brother, who had been her unwavering source of strength throughout her entire life. Reminiscing about his selflessness, she elaborated,

“He supported me a lot during my high school days and also during my trainee days.”

During a conversation, she shared a heart-wrenching memory from her past, when her high school-aged brother worked a part-time job to support her aspirations.

Kwon Eun Bi was so moved by her brother’s selflessness that she made a vow to support him in return.

“It was so touching. I thought to myself, ‘I’ll achieve success and support my brother in pursuing whatever he wants to do, I owe him everything’” she said with heartfelt sincerity.
