Eunbi Kwon’s $1.7 Million Songjeong-dong Property Purchase
On March 16, Top Star News revealed that the former leader of IZ*ONE and sultry solo artist had acquired a property in Songjeong-dong, Seoul, making her a building owner.
Based on the report, the “Glitch”artist entered into an agreement on March 12th to buy a one-family residence situated along Jungnangcheon in Songjeong-dong, Seoul for 2.4 billion KRW (equivalent to around $1.7 million).
The structure in question is a compact building with three floors above ground and one basement floor, constructed on a plot of land measuring 106㎡. The total floor area is 192.45㎡.
In June, Eunbi will be responsible for paying the remaining balance and the property will be transferred to her name as the new landlord.
Songjeong-dong is known for its numerous development opportunities, including the ongoing construction of the Dongbu Expressway and the improvement project for the Jungnangcheon waterfront, making it an ideal location for the building she purchased.
In addition, this particular location is well-known among Korean celebrities, such as S.E.S Bada, who made a notable investment in the area by purchasing a building in September 2019.
In August 2023, Hong Jin Young, who is both a singer and the CEO of IMH Entertainment, purchased a building in this location. IMH Entertainment, which she established in 2019, was listed as the owner of the building.
Actress Ko So Young’s real estate property, which she purchased in 2022, is located right across from her building.
According to industry insiders, Kwon Eunbi chose to live in Seongjeong-dong not only for its promising growth potential, but also for its convenient location near Gangnam and other hubs for K-pop agencies and broadcasting stations, which are essential for her career as a K-pop idol.
Overview of Kwon Eunbi’s Latest Projects and Appearances
Meanwhile, Kwon Eunbi received praise for her dedicated and determined character, which has brought her to her current position.
Despite starting her career as a backup dancer and being underrated as an idol, she has since become one of the most successful K-pop soloists and now owns multiple properties as a landlord.
Despite debuting in 2014 as a member of the girl group Ye-A with the stage name Kazoo, Eunbi was unable to achieve domestic success and the group disbanded in 2015 without any official notice.
Before that, she had experience working as a backup dancer for well-known second-generation groups such as SECRET and Girl’s Day.
In 2018, she finally attained success upon debuting as IZ*ONE’s leader, a group that was created through Mnet’s “Produce 48.”
Despite the team disbanding in 2021, Kwon’s popularity continued to thrive. However, instead of seeking to re-debut in another girl group, she chose to pursue a solo career at that time.
Despite a less-than-stellar beginning as a soloist, she once again demonstrated the power of perseverance when she gained widespread attention for her “Water Bomb”performance in Seoul last summer, earning her the nickname “Water Bomb Goddess.”
In 2024, her goal is to advance her career in the acting industry by announcing her debut film, “Stolen Identity: Final Hacking Game,”which is scheduled to be released in the fall of this year.
