On November 7th, former Hello Venus member Kwon Nara made a special appearance on the YouTube variety show Dex’s Fridge Interview. During the episode, she candidly shared her thoughts on marriage and what she looks for in a partner.

When the topic of marriage arose, Kwon Nara stated, “For me, marriage still feels like a distant future. However, I do feel a sense of envy when I see my peers enjoying their lives with their children. They seem so happy and mature, even though they are younger than me.” She went on to express a more open approach towards the idea of marriage now than in the past: “Although marriage seems far off, if I meet someone exceptionally kind, I would be inclined to marry.”

Continuing her reflection, Kwon acknowledged her previous resistance to marriage, saying, “Initially, I never envisioned myself getting married. But now, I’m more open to the prospect. I do believe I need to mature and dedicate more time to myself and my career. If the right person comes along and love blossoms, I would take that step.” This shift in her perspective on marriage has garnered considerable attention from fans and followers alike.

Insights on Her Ideal Partner

In terms of her ideal type, Kwon Nara articulated, “I think warm and caring individuals are the best. My father embodies those qualities, and he is truly my ideal.” She also dismissed the allure of “bad boys,” emphasizing her preference for kindness and respectfulness in a partner.

“I desire someone with whom I can easily understand their feelings and actions,” Kwon elaborated. “While I am okay with taking time to get to know each other, I find it troubling when people avoid confronting issues. Factors like height and age are less important to me than a person’s character. I pay close attention to how individuals treat others, regardless of their status, especially older adults and service staff. This is a critical aspect for me, whether it’s a guy or girl.”
