The inaugural episode, entitled Where should we go next?, opens with Rin’s solo camping trip at Lake Shouji, triggering memories of her first camping experience with her beloved grandfather. When she was in fourth grade, she embarked on a train journey to visit him at his house. Upon arrival at the station, her grandfather was eagerly awaiting her and took her on a trip to the Yahagi Dam.

Upon their return, Rin noticed her grandfather’s camping equipment and expressed interest, prompting him to take her camping. They arrived at Inabu Overlook where her grandfather helped her set up camp. He shared valuable tips with Rin and taught her the technique of creating fire by rubbing two sticks together.

Currently, Rin is situated on Lake Shouji, reflecting on past recollections as she is shown Kodaki Fuji by an elderly gentleman. The small mountain is positioned in front of the well-known Mount Fuji.

The scene transitions to Rin’s school, where Nadieshiko, Chiaki, and Inuyama are engaged in a discussion about potential future projects for the club. As they enjoy their beverages, Chiaki proposes the idea of creating DIY (Do It Yourself) alcohol stoves from recycled bottles. The narrator then provides a concise explanation of the process for constructing such stoves.

Despite their usual routine, the trio quickly begins attempting to construct the structures using aluminum cans. Nadeshiko encounters challenges and continuously purchases alternative tools to achieve success. After trying a metal can, she realizes it is too difficult to cut through and eventually resorts to using a sword-like cutter.

While working, Inuyama mentions to Chiaki about her long hair. Ena joins them and offers to style Chiaki’s hair. Towards the end of the episode, the group successfully creates their alcohol swabs and presents them to their advisor, Minami-sensei.

Nadeshiko receives praise from everyone and gives them the opportunity to showcase its functionality. She burns the alcohol while Minami-sensei dims the lights, allowing the flames of the stoves to be visible.
