In the Lakers’ win against the Nets, LeBron James shocked fans by hitting nine three-pointers, the most he has ever made in his career.
The Los Angeles Lakers arrived at their game against Brooklyn on March 31 with a record of five wins in their last six games, holding onto the ninth spot in the NBA Western Conference standings.
The Lakers initially held a strong 17-0 lead at the start of the game, but it was ultimately overshadowed by LeBron James’ impressive three-point shooting performance.
James finished the contest with a total of 40 points, along with seven rebounds and five assists. His impressive performance also included a 9-of-10 shooting effort from beyond the arc, which tied his personal best.
The Los Angeles bench erupted multiple times throughout James’ offensive explosion, but the most impressive moment came when he sunk the final three-pointer, as seen in this tweet from The Hoop Central.

James executed a left-handed dribble, followed by a large backward step behind the three-point line, and successfully sunk a long-range shot while falling out of bounds.
The Brooklyn crowd was stunned and rose to their feet, while a fan wearing a LeBron jersey and a GOAT costume couldn’t contain his amazement.
At 39 years old, James has an average of 25.3 points per game, and he also contributes eight assists and seven rebounds per game for Los Angeles.
The Lakers’ overall record of 42-33 was boosted by LeBron’s impressive performance during Easter, which resulted in a dominant double-digit victory.
Despite having only seven games left in the regular season, the Lakers have solidified their position as the ninth seed in the West and are on the verge of securing a spot in the NBA’s play-in tournament.
