Although fans have bid farewell to both *Yellowstone* and *Lioness*, there’s still a captivating Taylor Sheridan series currently airing: *Landman*. Yet, this latest show seems to lack a common element found in many of Sheridan’s previous works—his on-screen cameos.
The end of 2024 was a thrilling time for fans of Taylor Sheridan. Between November and December, viewers were treated to the returns of *Yellowstone* Season 5 Part 2, *Lioness* Season 2, and the debut of *Landman*, all showcasing Sheridan’s signature themes of family dynamics intertwined with violence.
Even though *Yellowstone* and *Lioness* have concluded, *Landman* still has two episodes yet to air. The last episode left us with Tommy Norris, played by Billy Bob Thornton, rallying the National Guard for security against a crafty cartel.

This development has surprised the audience, especially in light of his heavily scrutinized role as Travis Wheatley in the final season of *Yellowstone*. As a horse showman and auctioneer, Travis’s role expanded significantly in the last episodes, leading to mixed reactions from viewers who felt overwhelmed by his presence.
