Last chance: Grab these retired LEGO Stranger Things sets before they run out

Some sites still have stocks of retired LEGO Stranger Things sets. However, you will have to act quickly and pay the price.

The first season of Stranger Things aired nearly a decade ago, with the sci-fi series first appearing on Netflix in 2016. However, Stranger Things and LEGO fans eager to recreate iconic scenes from the award-winning brick-built series had to wait another three years to experience the first LEGO Stranger Things set.

In 2019, the LEGO Stranger Things House in the Upside Down (75810) was finally released. At the time, it was the only LEGO model inspired by Stranger Things. Three years later, it was the turn of the LEGO BrickHeadz The Demogorgon & Eleven (40549) to be released, a set then exclusive to the LEGO store.

However, both of these sets have been officially removed to the Upside Down. Fortunately, there are still a few copies available on platforms like Amazon and Fnac. So, it’s now or never.

What is the current price of these retired LEGO Stranger Things sets?

It is good to note that, like several discontinued sets, these two LEGO Stranger Things sets are offered at a premium price. Retired in 2022, the original price of LEGO House in the Upside Down increased from €199.99 to €399.99, an increase of almost 100%. But rarity comes at a price, right?

Also, the Brickheadz Demogorgon and Eleven set, which was discontinued after only nine months, is now available for €44.05, instead of the original €19.99, an increase of more than 100%.

However, for fans wanting to immerse themselves in their favorite series and have their favorite characters by their side, these two Stranger Things sets, although offered at a premium price, will keep them busy while waiting for the release of the highly anticipated fifth season.

LEGO Stranger Things House in the Upside Down box

The most detailed Stranger Things set LEGO has created to date, winning a Toy of the Year Awards in 2020. The kit includes 2,287 pieces, each fitting together to create a spectacular recreation of the Byers’ home and the sinister Upside-down world.

This has a porch, a living room, a dining room and Will’s bedroom. Authentic elements of the series include the alphabet wall, equipped with a light function, and much more. A range of accessories is also present. Also, you can switch the whole thing between the real world and The Upside Down.

The Upside Down section resembles the Byers’ house built of bricks. However, here, since the above is not like the below, you are in an alternate dimension presenting a sinister and dilapidated appearance. The completed construction measures over 32cm high, 44cm wide and 21cm deep.

Plus, the set comes with a LEGO recreation of Chief Jim Hopper’s police car. A Hopper minifigure is included, as well as figures of Eleven, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Will, Joyce Byers and a Demogorgon. This set was designed for Stranger Things fans ages 16 and up.

Made up of 192 pieces, the LEGO The Demogorgon & Eleven (40549) set is a must-have LEGO BrickHeadz set for Stranger Things fans aged 16 and up. Although it won’t take long to build each of the approximately 9cm tall minifigures, they will look great when displayed, especially next to your other LEGO BrickHeadz sets.

In addition, the brick-built figures feature several authentic details. This includes an accurate recreation of Eleven’s outfit, while the Demogorgon features an opening flower head.

Each LEGO Stranger Things set is guaranteed to put a smile on the face of fans of the series, offering a nostalgic dive into the adventures of seasons past. With the release of the fifth season in sight, let’s hope LEGO expands its collection with even more Stranger Things-inspired sets.
