Latest Boruto Promo Unveils Identity of the “Two Blue Vortex” Characters

Since the debut of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, fans have been curious about the meaning of the series’s title. The previous manga, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, aptly reflected its focus on the new generation of Shinobi. However, the title “Two Blue Vortex”raises questions.

Many fans speculated that the two “Blue Vortex”referenced in the title referred to the two karma users in the series, Boruto and Kawaki. While it is evident that the protagonist is one of the “Blue Vortexes,”the identification of the second remains uncertain.

Fortunately, a recent preview of the manga provided clues regarding who the second “Blue Vortex”might be. It appears to suggest that it could be none other than Boruto’s sister, Himawari Uzumaki, the new Jinchuriki of Kurama.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Volume 3 Preview Suggests Himawari as the Second “Blue Vortex”

Just before the release of the third compiled volume of the manga, Shueisha’s V Jump magazine featured a promotional advertisement spotlighting the two main characters – Boruto and Himawari.

The description stated:

“The Choices of the Siblings Who Inherited the Power! Himawari confronts Jura alone to protect her friends! Boruto challenges Hidari to save his master!”

As fans know, Jura and Hidari are among the strongest sentient Divine Trees. Himawari’s confrontation with one of these Divine Trees indicates her significance as one of the series’s main characters. This aligns with the title, as both Uzumaki siblings possess blue eyes, reminiscent of their father, the Seventh Hokage Naruto Uzumaki.

While the manga has yet to clarify what the “Blue Vortex”entails, evidence suggests it likely refers to the Uzumaki siblings. Fans might recall that a while back, Naruto manga creator Masashi Kishimoto released a short manga titled “Naruto: The Whorl Within the Spiral,”where Mito Uzumaki elaborated on the difference between a spiral and a helix. Given the Uzumaki clan’s strong association with terms synonymous with “vortex,”it is plausible that the latest manga’s title relates to the two Uzumaki descendants.

Regrettably, fans may have to wait some time for the manga to provide confirmation. Until then, Himawari enthusiasts can celebrate her growing prominence in the storyline. She is not only positioned to confront Divine Tree Jura in upcoming chapters, but she is also the new Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Beast Kurama. Fans hope the manga will continue to develop her character positively.
