The agency has stated that Park Gyu-ri requires surgery for her facial injury and will need four to five weeks to fully recover. In light of this, Park has made the decision to put a hold on all scheduled activities for the next month in order to prioritize her recovery.

On the 24th, KARA’s Park Gyu-ri was set to make her return. The group’s latest digital single, “I Do I Do,”marks their first new release in approximately a year and eight months since their special album “MOVE AGAIN”came out in November 2022.

Despite Park Gyu-ri’s injury two weeks before her comeback, the entire group remains on high alert. While the music release is still scheduled for late July, Park’s announcement of a month-long suspension of her activities may impact the album’s promotion.

There is also excitement surrounding KARA’s solo concert “2024 KARASIA”in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan this August, with many wondering if all the members will be able to perform together at the event.
