Latest One Piece Magazine: Zoro’s Haki Power Revealed

One Piece’s beloved swordsman, Roronoa Zoro, recently enhanced his abilities with the development of the King of Hell Style. After realizing his true potential and ambitious goals, Zoro tapped into his hidden power and elevated himself to the status of a master swordsman, determined to claim the title of the world’s strongest.

In addition to mastering the Color of Conqueror, a rare skill that only the most powerful One Piece characters possess, Zoro took it a step further. The swordsman with green hair developed a unique form known as the King of Hell Style, which combines the advanced forms of both Conqueror’s Haki and Armament Haki.

Since joining Monkey D. Luffy’s crew, Zoro has consistently proven himself to be a formidable ally. However, his fighting abilities were taken to a new level when he mastered the use of Advanced Conqueror’s Haki. This increase in strength has even been recognized by the most recent issue of One Piece Magazine.

One Piece Magazine Vol. 18: The Insane Power of Zoro’s Haki-Based King of Hell Mode

The Latest One Piece Publication Explores Zoro’s New Technique

One Piece fans are constantly seeking out new information about the series, which is precisely why the SBS, Vivre Card Databook, and One Piece Magazine exist. One Piece Magazine Vol. 18 specifically focused on Roronoa Zoro’s newly acquired Haki abilities.

So far, Zoro’s most powerful attack in his new mode has been the King of Hell: Three Sword Serpent: Dragon Damnation, an upgraded version of his previous Three Sword Style: Ultra Tiger Hunt. According to the One Piece Magazine, this move is classified as a supreme grade technique and is considered the peak of Zoro’s swordsmanship.

The publication details Zoro’s ability to perform Dragon Damnation by infusing his swords with dense Haki. Additionally, it highlights how this attack possesses unmatched destructive force, leaving even King, a resilient survivor of the Lunarian race, completely helpless.

By implementing this method, Zoro was able to overpower King’s most formidable move – a massive, dragon-like formation of Lunarian flames. It should be noted that in One Piece, Lunarian flames are equivalent to magma and are known to possess greater strength than regular fire.

Zoro’s move was a testament to its insane potency, as it not only destroyed King’s powerful attack but also inflicted a fatal wound upon him. This caused his special Lunarian body to be torn apart and his Armament Haki-imbued weapon to be broken.

Zoro and Sanji’s Fire-Based Attacks: A Comparison

The One Piece Magazine Vol. 18 also draws a parallel between Zoro’s Dragon Damnation and Sanji’s Ifrit Jambe: Beef Burst. While Zoro’s move is referred to as a “Supreme Technique”, Sanji’s is simply labeled as a “Great Technique”.

In particular, the Japanese term for Sanji’s Ifrit Jambe denotes something remarkable but not exceptional, whereas the term for Zoro’s King of Hell distinctly conveys something exceedingly potent, surpassing the usual.

It had already been established in the manga that Zoro was superior, as he only required three hits to defeat King, while Sanji needed multiple Ifrit Jambe techniques to take down Queen. This was even when King was at full strength, while Queen had already been weakened by his own explosive attacks and Sanji’s enhanced Hell Memories.

In addition, King was left in a worse state than Queen after his fight with Zoro. Although both were bandaged, King’s injuries were more severe. Unlike Queen, who was able to briefly transform into his Zoan form, King was too exhausted to utilize his Zoan powers or Lunarian abilities.

It is undeniable that King possesses greater strength and resilience compared to Queen, highlighting the truly remarkable display of skill by Zoro in comparison to Sanji. Zoro was able to defeat a formidable adversary with relative ease, while Sanji struggled against a less formidable opponent, solidifying Zoro’s superiority as a fighter over Sanji.

While Armament and Observation Haki can be developed by any character in One Piece, Conqueror’s Haki, also referred to as Haoshoku, is a power reserved for those with exceptional willpower from birth. These individuals possess the ability to unleash their spirit and intimidate others, often leaving them overwhelmed.

Out of the limited number of individuals who possess the innate ability of Conqueror’s Haki, only a small group possess the strength to imbue their bodies, weapons, and techniques with Haoshoku. Referred to as the “Advanced Conqueror’s Haki,”this skill bestows its users with an unparalleled level of power.

During his battle with King, the Lunarian survivor and right-hand man of Kaido, Zoro showcased his rare ability to utilize the advanced form of Haoshoku, a game-changing asset that distinguishes the best from the average. This solidified his position as one of the few fighters capable of harnessing this formidable power, further cementing his status as a formidable opponent.

One Piece has consistently hinted at Zoro’s ability to wield the Color of Conqueror’s Haki. Both Monet and Queen were visibly intimidated by his powerful aura, and even Kaido acknowledged the presence of Conqueror’s Haki when Zoro used his Ashura attack, which amplifies his physical abilities through sheer willpower.

Realizing that Enma had been putting him to the test, Zoro became aware of his true potential and unleashed it with full force. Using a burst of Haki, he was able to defeat several Beasts Pirates and then demonstrated his exceptional ability by enveloping himself in Haoshoku, a feat only achievable by the most powerful characters in One Piece.

Moments later, Zoro utilized both the advanced forms of Conqueror’s Haki and Armament Haki to form the formidable King of Hell Style. It is important to mention that, even with only Armament Haki, Zoro possessed enough strength to inflict major damage on Kaido, as acknowledged by Big Mom.

Zoro was initially using Ryuo without being fully aware of it, as his sword Enma unintentionally increased his Haki output. However, he has now mastered the technique and can intentionally use both the Color of Armament and the Color of Conqueror simultaneously.

Therefore, Zoro not only experienced a substantial boost in his power but also acquired additional skills. He is now capable of executing Haki slashes without making physical contact, allowing him to strike his opponents, and can also create Haki barriers to repel his enemies without any physical contact.

Zoro’s Haki abilities not only enhance his attacking prowess, but also provide him with exceptional defensive capabilities. Coupled with his incredible speed, reflexes, muscular strength, and pain tolerance, it is evident that Zoro is a formidable and well-rounded fighter in the world of One Piece.

After recently upgrading his skills, it came as no surprise that Zoro was able to defeat the Lunarian King, Kaido’s strongest subordinate, with just three blows. Additionally, he had no difficulty defending against S-Hawk, the most powerful Seraphim cyborg, and ultimately defeating Rob Lucci, the most formidable CP0 agent and a notorious villain in the series.

Zoro stands out as a powerful Haki master, as he possesses the rare ability to use all three types of Haki, including the advanced versions. This makes him a legendary fighter among those who are able to harness the full potential of these abilities.

Zoro’s use of Haki in his attacks is remarkably formidable, as demonstrated by his ability to defeat Lucci with just one strike from his Three Sword Style technique coated in Conqueror’s Haki. Despite being seriously injured, Lucci still managed to remain standing, driven by his determination to not give in to defeat.

Despite his power and endurance, Lucci was unable to do anything due to his physical condition. He was shaking, coughing up blood, and had three severe lacerations on his body. It is worth noting that Lucci is capable of withstanding multiple Gear 5 attacks from Luffy.

Despite using the King of Hell Style, Zoro has consistently defeated his opponents with ease, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the true potential of this new Haki-based mode. It is highly likely that Zoro’s ultimate strength lies in the combination of the Nine Sword Style: Ashura and the King of Hell Style.

Naturally, Zoro reserves this technique for upcoming battles that may require more skill. He is determined to surpass formidable opponents such as Dracule Mihawk (known for surpassing even the fighting abilities of Shanks), Silvers Rayleigh (the formidable right-hand man of Gol D. Roger), and Shimotsuki Ryuma (the legendary swordsman revered as a deity).

To achieve his goal of becoming the World’s Strongest Swordsman, Zoro must maximize his strength. Additionally, as Luffy’s faithful right-hand man, Zoro must also strive to aid Luffy in his journey to become the Pirate King. Fortunately, the green-haired swordsman is well on his way to accomplishing both of these aims.
