A TikToker recently posted a six-part story detailing how her longtime boyfriend proposed to her through an elaborate scavenger hunt, inspired by the hit TV show Law & Order SVU.
Maddie and her partner Ty, who are both popular TikTokers, had been in a committed relationship for a decade when Ty made a momentous decision – to ask Maddie to marry him.
However, Ty wanted to make sure his future wife knew just how much he understood and loved her, so his proposal had to be far from ordinary.
Therefore, he opted to organize a scavenger hunt based on her beloved television series, Law & Order SVU.
Throughout the experience, Maddie was provided with precise guidelines on how to become the ultimate detective for the delightful adventure that ultimately took her a full 12 hours to accomplish.
Ice-T, the actor from Law & Order SVU, personally instructed her, saying, “Your mission is to locate Ty before the sun sets,” in a special message tailored for her.

The initial stage of her scavenger hunt led her to the nearby park, where Maddie was greeted by her sister-in-law and nephew.
Upon solving the initial clues of her covert assignment, Maddie was directed to a restaurant where her companions eagerly awaited her arrival.
Afterward, her drink was presented to her in a cup labeled with the words “San Diego Zoo,”causing her to assume that her next hint would be found there.
While exploring the zoo in search of her next clues, the TikToker was surprised by the arrival of her best friend from the East Coast. “I was literally in tears when I saw her,”she revealed.
Following her time spent with her beloved animals, Maddie’s clue ultimately guided her to a hidden speakeasy where her cousin was already waiting for her.
Finally, her mom welcomed her inside Nordstrom and surprised her with a lovely dress, shoes, and makeup to refresh and prepare for her important event.

Maddie and her mother strolled hand in hand to the very spot where her father had gotten down on one knee and proposed to her mother. To her delight, she spotted Ty on one knee in front of a breathtaking orange sunset.
Maddie’s ultimate surprise, however, would be a gathering of all their loved ones to celebrate their engagement with Ty.

As he strolled through the store, he was surprised by the appearance of his loved ones in each aisle, making the event even more thrilling.
