Lawsuit filed against Logan Paul & KSI’s Prime Hydration for contract breach

Logan Paul and KSI’s Prime Hydration is facing yet another lawsuit for breach of contract, this time for $13 million in damages.

Since its launch in 2022, Prime Hydration has gained immense popularity and surpassed PepsiCo’s Gatorade as the top-selling hydration drink at Walmart in March 2024.

In addition, they have formed partnerships with renowned figures in the world of sports, such as the UFC, WWE, Patrick Mahomes from the NFL, and others.

Prime encountered several lawsuits in 2024, with allegations ranging from the presence of “forever chemicals”to a breach of contract with their bottler.

The well-known beverage company is facing yet another legal suit for violating their contract, as the supplier of their coconut water blend is seeking $13M in compensation.

Agrovana stated on August 8, 2024 that due to Prime’s failure to meet their projected sales, the beverage company was convinced to amend their initial contract at the start of 2024.

Despite Agrovana agreeing to ship smaller quantities of coconut powder for the upcoming months, Prime allegedly had a surplus of inventory in February 2024 and was forced to cancel orders.

The company alleges that Prime has failed to make payments for several months and is currently in default.

However, the non-payment constituted a significant violation of the conditions outlined in the April 2024 agreement. Furthermore, Prime has also violated the extended delivery schedule established in the executory agreement by refusing to accept Agrovana’s product at the previously agreed upon times since April 2024.

The supplier of coconut powder claims that Prime has violated two distinct agreements – one for a total of $6,966,680 in damages and the other for $5,020,680 – and is seeking full payment of all damages and other forms of compensation as a consequence of the legal action.

The lawsuit against Prime Hydration by NASCAR Driver Caesar Bacarella for trademark infringement comes just days after. Bacarella alleged that Prime’s applications for different trademarks violate the ones he holds for his supplement company, Alpha Prime.
