Carter relocated from California to Greenville, North Carolina in 2022 to join MrBeast’s team as a full-time producer. She claims to have signed an Independent Contractor Services Agreement upon her hiring. Despite having a base salary of $10,000 per month, she contends that her classification as an independent contractor was a method to evade paying for overtime work.
