During a press conference to announce the release of their latest album, LE SSERAFIM addressed the controversy surrounding their performance at the Coachella festival in April.
Kim Chae Won expressed her regret, stating, “We apologize for the disappointing aspects of our Coachella performance. As a group, we have learned and grown from this experience. Being a new group, we were very excited to participate in a large outdoor music festival, but unfortunately, we couldn’t control our excitement and it affected our performance. We have acknowledged that there is always room for improvement and we are committed to continuously progress. Our ultimate goal is to present the best version of ourselves. This is just the beginning and we hope everyone can support us with love and understanding.”
Huh Yunjin expressed her hopes for the gradual development of LE SSERAFIM following this experience. The first step towards this goal is the production of their new album ‘Crazy.’ The group is determined to deliver exceptional performances and music for their loyal fans. They have dedicated themselves to exploring and incorporating house music, EDM influences, and voguing choreography. The group eagerly anticipates the audience’s reception of this exciting new release.
Recently, LE SSERAFIM received harsh backlash regarding the live singing abilities of the five band members after their performance at Coachella in April.
