The visuals in the latest photoshoot for WWW by LE SSERAFIM are eliciting a variety of responses.

On May 15, 2024, a popular South Korean online community forum, Nate Pann, shared a post titled “LE SSERAFIM’s WWW (Who What Wear) photoshoot has been released.”Within the post, the original poster shared numerous photos from the girl group’s photo shoot for the publication.

It seems that their stylist aimed for a sophisticated and luxurious look by dressing them in expensive gowns and applying smokey makeup. They also opted for wavy, slightly damp hairstyles. It is believed that they were trying to achieve a refined, 1920s-inspired aesthetic.

The original poster pointed out that the member’s make-up style did not complement their visuals. They mentioned that Hong Eunchae and Huh Yunjin were the only members who somewhat fit this concept, but still believed a different make-up style would have been more suitable overall.

The original poster observed that the strong, dark make-up with brown eyeshadow, glossy cheekbones, and long eyelashes they had suggested would have better complemented the members. Korean netizens who saw the post shared the same sentiment as the original poster. It was also pointed out that among all the members, Kim Chaewon was the one who least suited the concept. Many believe that she does not fit the high fashion look and instead, suits a more casual, girl-next-door aesthetic.

Some questioned how their company could allow its members to be photographed in this manner and inquired if they had truly given their consent.
