LE SSERAFIM’s ‘UNFORGIVEN’ Charts 8th Consecutive Week on Billboard 200

On the week ending on July 8, LE SSERAFIM’s “UNFORGIVEN”has made its eighth consecutive week on the Billboard 200, placing at No. 189.

This achievement led LE SSERAFIM to become the third girl group to place an album on Billboard 200 for eight straight weeks, following popular female acts BLACKPINK and TWICE. Additionally, they also became the fastest group to accomplish the feat.

Apart from Billboard 200, “UNFORGIVEN”also managed to claim spots on charts such as World Albums chart at No. 5, Top Current Album Sales chart on No. 17, and Top Albums Sales chart on No. 20.

Their B-side track “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s Wife,”alongside title track “UNFORGIVEN,”both secured its positions on Billboard’s Global 200, as well as the Global Excl U.S. charts.

On the Global 200, “Eve, Psyche, & The Bluebeard’s Wife”made it on No. 74, and on Global Excl. U.S. chart, it managed to claim the No. 39 spot. Title track “UNFORGIVEN”made it on Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 57, while taking Global 200’s No. 111 for the ninth week.

With “UNFORGIVEN”raking up the buzz online with its musicality, it also led LE SSERAFIM to become the fastest K-pop girl group to join Billboard 200’s top 10.

On May 14, local time, LE SSERAFIM’s “UNFORGIVEN”made its debut on Billboard, placing at the No. 6 spot of its Top 200 Albums chart. Billboard 200 lists the most popular albums in the United States, and LE SSERAFIM placing in the chart is a big achievement itself.

Overall, they also became the fifth K-pop girl group in history to reach the top 10, trailing the steps of fellow girl groups BLACKPINK, TWICE, aespa, and ITZY. According to Luminate’s data during the week ending on May 11, “UNFORGIVEN”reached 45,000 equivalent album units.

Breaking the score down, it comprised of 38,500 traditional album sales, 6,500 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, and 9.04 million on-demand streams.

“UNFORGIVEN”is LE SSERAFIM’s first full-length album, which was released on May 1, alongside its title track of the same name. On YouTube, the music video for “UNFORGIVEN”currently has a total of 84,471,210 views, as of June 8.
