League of Legends’ Most Infuriating Champion Faces New Game-Breaking Bug

One of the most frustrating champions in League of Legends, K’sante, has recently become even more problematic due to a game-breaking bug that allows him to stack shields infinitely.

Patch 14.19 for League of Legends marks one of the most significant updates of the year. This patch has introduced extensive changes to nearly every item in the game, reducing the overall power level of champions. It also includes major reworks for several champions, notably K’sante, who continues to challenge the balancing team.

Since his launch, the Shuriman top laner has been a notorious presence in the MOBA, regarded as one of the strongest tanks ever introduced. K’sante can serve as a formidable frontline champion while also having the capability to isolate and eliminate carries with his ultimate ability when the opportunity arises.

Although Riot has made efforts to address K’sante’s balancing issues, including a rework in the September 25th update, the introduction of a new game-breaking bug has created a situation where he can infinitely stack shields on allies.

The bug was identified by challenger mid laner Strompest, revealing that K’sante can endlessly stack shields using his E ability. When paired with the item Moonstone Renewer, the shield can be partially transferred to an ally. However, the problem arises as the shield from Moonstone Renewer does not dissipate, enabling K’sante to continually generate an enormous shield.

K’sante had already suffered significant nerfs following his rework, so much so that the developers needed to roll out a hotfix buff to maintain his viability in the current meta. His updated kit has become more cumbersome, with developers having slowed down many of his animation canceling capabilities while compensating with increased lethality following his ultimate use.

Riot is usually prompt in addressing such bugs, so it’s likely that a patch will be on the way to resolve this issue shortly. Until then, players might want to continue banning K’sante, regardless of the bug.
