League Streamer Dantes Causes Heartbreak After Choosing LoL Over Girlfriend

League of Legends streamer Dantes decided to end his relationship of over 6 months with his girlfriend in order to prioritize his solo queue ranked grind and streaming career. His girlfriend is heartbroken and has expressed that she still has strong emotions for him.

Dantes has been a consistent League streamer for years and has become one of the game’s most popular streamers, regularly attracting thousands of viewers whenever he streams.

In the past, he has been transparent about his commitment to the ranked grind, streaming for a total of 194 hours in only 10 days during his climb in South Korea in 2023.

Despite wanting to make their relationship work while still dedicating a significant amount of time to playing League of Legends, he ultimately made the decision to end things with his partner, Laura. They had been together for approximately 9 months.

“Laura and I ended our relationship. Even though I could spend hours attempting to clarify the cause, it ultimately boils down to one fundamental truth: I am not prepared for a commitment. From the beginning, I made it clear to her that my career would be my top priority,”he clarified.

Dantes would proceed to express how supportive Laura was of him, stating that she was everything he had ever wanted in every possible way.

Despite his feelings for her, he ultimately ended the relationship due to his belief that he could not fully commit to it. He viewed his career in League of Legends as his top priority.

“Witnessing her make sacrifices in her personal and professional life to support me, while I was unwilling to reciprocate, eventually took a toll on my mental well-being.”

Despite the breakup, Laura has made it clear that she still has strong feelings for him and was heavily invested in the relationship. In fact, she even went to the extent of getting a tattoo of his name on her chest, as seen on her social media.

During her stream, she was very upset while describing the events and does not believe that they will reconcile at the moment.

At this moment, she stated that she would not consider getting back together with him. However, she acknowledged that she may still be too emotionally attached and could potentially make the same mistake if he were to return. She also recognized that everyone makes mistakes and it is a natural part of being human.
