Leaked Destiny 2 and Street Fighter Collaboration Emerges After Revenant Update

Excitement brews as the latest major collaboration for Destiny 2 has prematurely surfaced, thanks to dataminers revealing Street Fighter-themed gear set to arrive in Bungie’s acclaimed looter shooter.

After much eagerness, Episode Revenant launched on October 8, delivering a wealth of new features to Destiny 2 while making significant adjustments to its fundamental mechanics. This extensive update also introduces the much-anticipated Vesper Dungeon.

Beyond the immediate content presented in this update, dataminers have already begun uncovering future additions. Immediately following the patch’s release, those exploring the game files have unveiled another exciting crossover on the horizon.

Building on previous collaborations with franchises like Mass Effect, The Last of Us, and Ghostbusters, the upcoming integration appears to be with the iconic Street Fighter series. The legendary fighting game by Capcom is inherently recognizable, as leaks indicate a variety of gear, including masks and ghost shells, inspired by its most beloved characters.

Leaked Street Fighter Gear for Destiny 2

In keeping with the trend of such crossovers, players can look forward to a diverse selection of Street Fighter-themed cosmetics.

Initially revealed were three unique Ghost Shells, each representing a different character from the iconic Street Fighter lineup. The Delta Red Ghost Shell embodies Cammy, the Ansatsuken Ghost Shell represents Ryu, and the Kung Fu Ghost Shell features Chun-Li.

In addition to showcasing these characters through your Ghost, players may also find the option to don Blanka’s face on their helmets. A Blanka Mask, rumored to retail for 800 Silver, is poised to be usable by all three class types in Destiny 2.

Although these additions won’t enhance combat mechanics, the leaks have teased the arrival of three exciting Finishers that will inject some flair into your gameplay: the classic Hadouken, Lightning Kick, and Spinning Bird Kick.

Additionally, there’s an Emblem inspired by Street Fighter, titled ‘World Warrior,’ featuring a graffiti-style design with the classic ‘KO’ text, echoing visuals from Street Fighter 6.

Here’s a quick summary of the notable leaks regarding the Street Fighter crossover in Destiny 2:

  • Blanka Mask – 800 Silver (usable across all classes)
  • 3 Finishers – Hadouken, Lightning Kick, and Spinning Bird Kick
  • 3 Ghost Shells – Delta Red Ghost (Cammy), Ansatsuken Ghost Shell (Ryu), Kung Fu Ghost Shell (Chun-Li)
  • 1 Emblem – World Warrior

When Will the Street Fighter Collaboration Launch?

Currently, there is no confirmed date for when the Street Fighter-themed gear will be accessible in Destiny 2. Bungie has not acknowledged the leaks, leaving players uncertain about their in-game release plans.

Given that these elements are tucked within the recent Revenant update, it is reasonable to expect that the wait won’t be overly long. Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available in the coming days.
