On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, numerous reliable unofficial sources released key information regarding the details of My Hero Academia season 7 episode 1. These leaks caused a stir among fans.
One of the most prominent sources among these is undoubtedly @DabisPoleDance (formerly known as Twitter user Ever), recognized for their contribution to the spoiler process of Kohei Horikoshi’s original manga series as both author and illustrator.
Similarly, the leaked My Hero Academia season 7 episode 1 content posted by Ever and others covers a range of topics related to both the episode and the overall season. These include screenshots of the opening and ending theme sequences, details on which chapters will be covered in the first episode of season 7, and even sneak peeks of the highly anticipated fight scene in episode 1.
Possible Leaks for My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 1: Star and Stripe vs TomurAFO and More Revealed
According to reports, the first episode of My Hero Academia’s seventh season is expected to cover chapters 329 to 331 from the original manga series by Horikoshi.
More leaks have surfaced in the form of screenshots depicting the confrontation between TomurAFO (a fan-made term for the fusion of All For One and Tomura Shigaraki) and Star & Stripe. Although the screenshots do not reveal much, they do capture significant moments of the fight.
In addition to the aforementioned information, a total of four screenshots from both the opening and ending theme sequences have been released. The two shots from the opening sequence feature Izuku Midoriya running and a close-up of an unknown person’s eye. While the identity of the eye’s owner remains uncertain, it is speculated by many fans to belong to either Tenko Shimura/Tomura Shigaraki or Himiko Toga.
When discussing Toga, a leaked screenshot of the ending theme sequence appears to show a younger version of her appearing frightened and in tears as she is approached by two adults.
Although these adults are not visible, their shadows imply that they could be her parents. The last picture shows a hand holding an unidentified character’s All Might trading card, which is possibly Izuku “Deku” Midoriya or Katsuki Bakugo.
As of the writing of this article, there have been no additional leaks made available. However, there is a possibility that more information may be revealed in the remaining days before the episode’s official release.
Regardless of the scenario, fans can expect to fully experience the season 7 premiere in a timely manner. The episode will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll internationally at 5:30 a.m. Eastern Time/ 2:30 a.m. Pacific Time.
The first episode of season 7 of My Hero Academia is preceded by a four-part recap series called My Hero Academia: Memories. The final part of this series aired last weekend, concluding the recap.
The recap series had the goal of updating viewers on the key events of the seventh season’s storyline, while also incorporating new scenes deemed appropriate by studio BONES (and likely Horikoshi himself).
Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine first published Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga in July 2014. The series’ initial season of the anime premiered in Japan in April 2016.
