Leaked EA FC Open World Mode Features: Similarities to NBA 2K Revealed

EA FC is reportedly working on a new open-world game mode that bears resemblance to the Park found in NBA 2K.

As highlighted in our EA FC 25 review, RUSH has emerged as one of the franchise’s most exciting additions in years. In contrast to Volta, which did not succeed, this new 5v5 game mode offers a fast-paced, easy-to-learn experience that players can enjoy together with friends.

However, this game mode is more enjoyable when played with friends, as “selfish” teammates have occasionally diminished the fun for solo players. Overall, RUSH has already shown significant success, and EA appears to have more plans in store.

Credible leaker DonkTrading claimed that an Open World Mode is on the way for EA FC. The suggestion indicates that players will be able to utilize their Clubs player and interact with other community members and friends, similar to the innovative approach of the NBA 2K Park.

Donk further mentioned that the introduction of this game mode could come with EA FC 27 or 28, advising that an earlier release would be surprising.

Currently, Clubs is the closest experience for EA FC 25 players to the NBA 2K Park. Users can create their own professional players and engage in drop-in matches or league games with an official squad. Furthermore, fresh players can also join RUSH matches, teaming up with random players or friends as they climb through challenging divisions.

Introducing an open area featuring several RUSH or full 11v11 fields for players to watch and wait for the next game could truly revolutionize the gameplay experience.

For now, we can only speculate about what exciting features might be on the horizon, as EA Sports continues to enhance Clubs and RUSH with each new title.
