Leaked Price for iPhone SE4 Shows Potential Savings for Consumers

The release of the iPhone SE 4 is expected to take place in 2025, with numerous hardware upgrades. However, there may not be a significant increase in its price.

According to a reliable source of smartphone-related leaks, Revegnus, Apple is aiming for a starting price below $500 for their upcoming fourth-generation iPhone SE model. This is a pleasant surprise as there are multiple rumored upgrades expected to be included in the device.

According to the leaker, the launch price in the US will either stay at $429 or potentially rise by approximately 10%. However, the highest anticipated price is $499, even if there is an increase.

It was previously rumored that Apple might utilize the iPhone 14’s design for the iPhone SE 4. This would provide the SE with a more contemporary appearance, featuring flat edges similar to the newer iPhone models. If these speculations prove to be true, the iPhone SE may finally abandon the Home button and Touch ID, opting for Face ID and a notch, as well as a larger 6.1-inch screen.

The rear camera module may continue to feature a single camera sensor, but there is a possibility that it will be upgraded to a 48-megapixel main camera. This would be a significant improvement from the current 12-megapixel camera on the iPhone SE.

The iPhone SE may potentially have the same A16 chip as the iPhone 14. It is also speculated to have a battery capacity of 3279 mAh, similar to the iPhone 14, which should result in comparable battery performance. Rumored additions to the next iPhone SE include a USB-C port and an Action button.

According to The Information, the 2025 spring release of the new iPhone SE was reported last week. The publication supports the current speculation, affirming that the upcoming iPhone SE will continue to serve as an affordable option within the iPhone range.
