The next installment of JTBC’s “Mom, Do You Want To Go On a Trip With Me?”(literal title) will be broadcast on June 23rd. It follows the journey of Lee Hyo-ri and her mother as they spend their first night in Geoje, their second stop after Gyeongju.
During the trip, Lee Hyo-ri’s mother mentioned that she noticed a change in her daughter’s behavior. In response, Lee Hyo-ri reflected on her own actions and took some time to go through her mother’s cell phone. While looking at their text message history from 2018, Lee Hyo-ri realized that their communication had been lacking and expressed regret. She took the initiative to clean up after meals and even surprised her mother with her favorite omija tea and melon for dessert, creating a warm and loving atmosphere. It was clear that Lee Hyo-ri was determined to work on their relationship and become a better daughter.
On the first three days of the trip, the mother and daughter had slept in separate beds. However, on the fourth day, Lee’s mother suggested that they should share a bed that night. Lee responded with an awkward smile and said, “I’m afraid one of us might run away.”
The mother expressed her desire to hug her youngest daughter, Lee Hyo-ri, as she prepared for bedtime. Despite Lee Hyo-ri being covered in a blanket, the mother lovingly asked for a hug. However, Lee Hyo-ri hesitated, saying that her hands and feet were uncomfortable. This left high expectations for their night together and the rest of their trip in Geoje.
The next installment of “Mom, Do You Want To Go On a Trip With Me?” is scheduled to be broadcast on June 23rd.
