On June 23rd, in JTBC’s entertainment program ‘Mom, Shall We Go on a Trip Alone?’, Lee Hyori and her mom were shown traveling to Gyeongju, their first destination, and then spending the night in Geoje, their second destination.
On that particular day, Lee Hyori and her mother ordered sashimi and took a photo at the harbor. They had a wonderful time together, but her mother made them both laugh when she said, “That’s all for now.”
Upon reaching their accommodation in Geoje, the pair were enchanted by the scenic landscape, well-stocked kitchen tools, and even fresh lettuce growing in the vegetable patch.
Lee Hyori expressed her appreciation, stating that her mother-in-law had prepared the pickled vegetables. She also mentioned that she would call her immediately to show her gratitude.
Lee Hyori expressed gratitude, saying “I am incredibly grateful for being blessed with such an amazing husband.”
After hearing her mother’s words, Lee Hyori quickly ended the call with her mother-in-law, laughing awkwardly. Her mother had praised her for becoming more mature and kind-hearted, which made Lee Hyori feel both happy and embarrassed.
Upon receiving a text message saying “Mom, I love you,”Lee Hyori realized that it was sent during the broadcast when her Mom accurately pointed it out.
Lee Hyori admitted that she had sent a message to her mother saying “I love you”and was curious to see who would respond quicker. Reflecting on the situation, she then proceeded to take charge of cleaning up after the meal and even went the extra mile to prepare omija tea and sliced melons for dessert.
