Lee Jinho, a comedian, gained attention for pointing out THIS particular “charm point”of ITZY’s Chaeryeong that adds to her overall appeal and makes her stand out as the most attractive member.
The second episode of the web series “Full-Belly Chaeryeong, Hanging Out With a Friend”(Chae-Bae-Bul) was released on the official YouTube channel, Merry Go Round, on June 18. The episode can be viewed on the channel’s website, as reported by Naver Entertainment.
On this day, MC Chaeryeong greeted comedian Lee Jinho, whom she had gotten to know through their appearances on various variety programs such as “Knowing Brothers.”
At the beginning of the performance, their humorous chemistry was on full display as the comedian presented the female idol with a gift that he had personally chosen.
He made a joke.
“I didn’t want to come empty-handed, so I brought you a gift. I downloaded the latest songs illegally and burned them for you.”
Feeling bewildered, the young idol and rookie MC managed to utter a thank you. Witnessing her reaction, the experienced host reassured her by advising her to loosen up and simply be at ease.
To alleviate her nerves, Lee Jinho offered her words of encouragement and praised her innate personality, highlighting it as her unique “charm point”that enhances her attractiveness.
“I’ve seen you around a lot. We met on ‘Knowing Bros’ too and in that ‘Idol Diction Contest’ before, you were so good, just do the same here.
I think that you are really charming. On the TV entertainment shows, you don’t pretend to be cute, which makes you even more attractive.”
He proceeded to say:
“But Chaeryeong, you have a unique character. You’re kind of quirky, right? You have a bit of a quirky personality.”
Despite the idol’s denial, Chaeryeong’s bold question to Jinho about his wig proved this side, causing laughter among the set.
After 15 minutes of non-stop laughter, the show came to an end with a heartwarming moment. During the final segment, Chaeryeong was moved by a letter written by Lee Jinho, in which he expressed:
“Chaeryeong, thank you so much for inviting me today. Don’t worry about what others think, do what you want to do.”
Meanwhile, Chaeryeong, a member of the girl group ITZY, is currently increasing its global presence through the second world tour, “BORN TO BE.”
In June, the band embarked on an American tour, making stops in Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles, Sugarland, Irving, Atlanta, and Fairfax, all of which were sold-out concerts. The tour will proceed to Newark on June 23, followed by Chicago (June 26) and Toronto (June 28th & 29th).
During July and August, the girl group will further extend their Asian tour to include Taipei, Manila, and Hong Kong, following their performances in Tokyo and Osaka in May. Their ultimate goal is to successfully complete 32 concerts across 28 different regions worldwide.
