On June 19th, Lee Jun-ho participated in the ceremony at the Shinhan Bank building in Jung-gu, Seoul and was inducted into the Honor Society of the Fruit of Love Community Chest of Korea.
The Honor Society is a group of donors who have contributed more than 100 million won and is organized by Fruit of Love. Celebrities such as Hyunsook, Yoona, Insooni, Suzy, Ha Chun-hwa, IU, Seolhyun, and Hyeri have already become members of the Honor Society.
Upon receiving the certificate and plaque, Lee Jun-ho expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am honored to be a part of the Honor Society and to be able to contribute towards creating a better world. My hope is to share the kindness and love I have received and to use my heart to make a positive impact in the future.”His generous donation will go towards supporting projects that aid vulnerable children in other countries.
In July 2022, Lee Jun-ho officially became an ambassador for World Vision after 13 years of working with the international non-governmental organization for relief and development. He first joined hands with World Vision in 2011 to support children in Ethiopia and Ghana.
Lee Jun-ho has been organizing solo concerts since 2015, with additional shows in 2017 and January of this year. During these concerts, he has set up booths to raise awareness for child-sponsored programs. In addition, he has made donations to support the provision of drinking water to individuals in Ethiopia and to cover emergency relief expenses for children impacted by COVID-19. Through these actions, the singer-actor continues to spread his positive impact through various means, such as sponsoring children in Korea and participating in different campaigns.
