The drama Boys Over Flowers, which premiered in 2009, narrates the story of a dry cleaner’s daughter who receives a scholarship to a prestigious school, highlighting her interactions with the wealthy boys there. In the series, Lee Min Jung portrayed Ha Jae Kyung, the fiancée of Goo Joon Pyo (played by Lee Min Ho), while Kim Bum took on the role of So Yi Jung, a member of the F4 group.
