In the latest episode of KBS 2TV’s “New Release of Pen Restaurant”(hereafter referred to as “Pen Restaurant”), which aired on August 17th, a preview video was released featuring the appearance of the new chef, Lee Sang-woo.
Upon being introduced as “actor Lee Sang-woo,”he also revealed his lesser-known title as a chef to the viewers and extended a warm greeting. He then proceeded to give a tour of his newlywed home, which he and his wife had recently obtained after seven years of marriage. Kim So-yeon, filled with excitement, exclaimed, “I can’t believe we get to share our home on ‘Pen Restaurant’!”As the episode continued, Lee Sang-woo’s serious and dedicated approach to cooking only heightened the anticipation for his upcoming culinary performance.
The modest home of Lee Sang-woo and Kim So-yeon, which was unveiled on the show, had a spacious living room with a sofa and a screen. The living room wall was adorned with four neatly arranged mirrors. Notably, a table was positioned by the window, providing a breathtaking view of the Han River that immediately caught the attention.
In February 2016, Lee Sang-woo and Kim So-yeon first crossed paths on the set of the MBC weekend drama “Happy Home” . Despite initially meeting as co-stars, their on-screen chemistry soon blossomed into a real-life romance. Portraying the characters of Bong Hae-ryeong and Seo Ji-geon, their impressive acting talent and portrayal of a married couple won over the hearts of viewers.
In September of the same year, following the conclusion of the drama, their agencies officially confirmed their relationship. Both sides expressed that the two had developed strong feelings for each other while working on ‘Happy Home’ and were currently in the process of getting to know each other and nurturing their love.
Kim So-yeon and Lee Sang-woo, who tied the knot in June 2017, have captured the hearts of fans with their affectionate bond and have been happily married for eight years. On August 23rd at 8:30 PM, viewers will get a glimpse of the couple’s newlywed home on “Pen Restaurant,”marking its first appearance on television.
