On December 27th of last year, Jeon Hye-jin announced the tragic loss of her husband, Lee Sun-kyun. Sadly, three months later in March, she also lost her father-in-law.

Despite her sorrow, Jeon Hye-jin declared her official comeback on June 3rd with her upcoming drama “Riding Life”. According to her agency, HODU&U Entertainment, “Riding Life”is a “show that delves into the dynamics of family relationships”. They added, “Jeon Hye-jin will portray the main character Lee Jung-eun and introduce a fresh side of herself to the audience. We ask for your continued anticipation and support for actress Jeon Hye-jin as she prepares to reunite with everyone through this new project.”

“Currently in production, “Riding Life”is Jeon Hye-jin’s highly anticipated comeback project and is scheduled to be released next year.”

Furthermore, the upcoming release of “Mission Cross”(directed by Lee Myung-hoon) featuring Jeon Hye-jin is on the horizon. However, it is anticipated that the movie will be available on Netflix rather than in cinemas.

“Mission Cross”is an action-packed film that follows the story of Kang Moo, a retired agent who now leads a peaceful life as a house-husband. He keeps his past hidden from his wife Mi Sun, who is a skilled member of the police’s violent crime unit and wrongly assumes her husband’s secrets. The movie also features Jeon Hye-jin as Hee Joo, a young agent who enlists Kang Moo’s assistance in an undercover operation triggered by a missing person case.

Lee Sun-kyun’s upcoming works, which were completed before his passing, will also be revealed this summer. “The Land of Happiness”(directed by Choo Chang-min) is scheduled for release in August, while “Project Silence”announced today (June 13th) that it will be released on July 12th.
