“Project Silence”is a disaster movie featuring Lee Sun-kyun, Ju Ji-hoon, and Kim Hee-won. It follows the story of a group of people isolated on an airport bridge, surrounded by an impenetrable fog that leads to the collapse of the bridge. As they struggle to survive, they must also face unexpected threats lurking in the fog. This project brought together prominent figures from the Korean film industry.

This partnership guarantees the emergence of an original disaster movie in which familiar locations and creatures provoke fear and terror.

Project Silence

Hong Kyung-pyo, the acclaimed cinematographer known for his work on films such as “Deliver Us from Evil” , “Parasite” , “Burning” , “The Wailing” , and “Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War” , expertly utilized handheld techniques to capture 90% of the film, effectively conveying the intensity of the disaster scenes. He also skillfully utilized lighting changes to realistically and dramatically portray the isolated disaster scene shrouded in dense fog. Co-writer Park Joo-suk, renowned for his exceptional writing in films like “Train to Busan” and “Hwayi: A Monster Boy” , brought his talent to the screenplay, vividly depicting a diverse range of human characters in extreme situations

Dexter Studios, the renowned VFX company responsible for the creation of the “Along with the Gods”franchise and “Space Sweepers”, utilized cutting-edge CGI techniques to realistically depict the helicopter crash, bridge collapse, and military experiment dogs, effectively immersing the audience in a gripping and suspenseful atmosphere.

Lee Gun-moon, the director of martial arts who displayed the epitome of stylish action in the film “Deliver Us from Evil”, supervised the movements of the military experiment dogs, known for their immense speed and power. He flawlessly incorporated the actors’ performances with the use of CGI dogs.
