Lee Yeon-hee Acquires New Home in Seongbuk-dong
On October 10, it was officially announced that actress Lee Yeon-hee purchased a single-family home in the upscale neighborhood of Seongbuk-dong, located in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, for a substantial price of 3.4 billion won in July 2023. Prior to settling the final payment for the property, Lee secured a preliminary registration of her right to claim ownership transfer, a standard practice designed to safeguard against potential double-selling.
Details of the Property
Official registry records reveal that Lee Yeon-hee and her husband jointly acquired the residence at the beginning of July 2023. The home comprises one basement level along with two additional floors above ground. As the final payment remains pending, the property is currently protected under a right-to-claim reservation, preventing the sellers from executing further transactions on the house until the payment is complete.
Specifications and Trends
The newly acquired property spans an area of 354㎡ (approximately 107 pyeong) with a total floor area of about 298㎡ (around 90 pyeong), translating to a purchase cost of around 31.75 million won per 3.3㎡. Recent real estate transactions in the vicinity indicate that a comparable property sold for approximately 31.03 million won per 3.3㎡ in September. Furthermore, a nearby vacant lot of 1,822㎡ (approximately 552 pyeong) is currently listed for sale at 24.1 million won per 3.3㎡.
