Lightsabers have become an integral part of Star Wars, and now players can wield this iconic weapon in LEGO Fortnite. Here’s how you can obtain a Lightsaber in the game.
How to Obtain a Lightsaber in LEGO Fortnite
Players of LEGO Fortnite have the opportunity to acquire a Lightsaber by successfully conquering an Empire bunker. These bunkers can be found in the distinct Star Wars region that is accessible after the Star Destroyer crashes in the main game world.
Before entering the separate biome, players are equipped with Macrobinoculars which can be used to scout nearby Empire bunkers. These bunkers are easily recognizable by their giant red Empire symbols, and there are typically multiple ones located near the Rebel Base.
The bunkers of the Empire are constructed with massive steel doors that are integrated into the surroundings, resembling enormous caves. To open these doors, players must upgrade their Rebel Base to level six and obtain Code Clearance. Alternatively, players can use Boom Barrels, but a minimum of three is required to fully breach the base.
The bunkers are divided into separate caves where Stormtroopers and other Empire personnel reside in small camps. Each section is guarded by a massive red laser door, which will only open once all of the enemies in the section have been vanquished. Be prepared to face numerous enemies in each section, with approximately a dozen in each bunker.
Once you have cleared the final section, the bunker’s last room will reveal a glowing red chest. Be sure to examine the red chest in order to obtain a colored Lightsaber as well as some crafting materials. The exit can be found right beside the chest.
Lightsabers are available in red, blue, and green colors. They are virtually indestructible and do not require any repairs, although they may need to be recharged when the meter runs low.
