On May 21 (KST), the “Smart” performance by LE SSERAFIM on the Jennifer Hudson Show was uploaded in its entirety on YouTube. However, the performance received negative feedback as netizens noticed that the girl group was lip-syncing.

Previously, LE SSERAFIM had faced criticism for their lack of skill in live singing. Their most recent performance has only fueled the ongoing criticism of the group, with some comments going as far as labeling them as “talentless”.
Thus far, there has been an overwhelming response of over 600 comments in regards to LE SSERAFIM’s “Smart” Performance. Some of the comments are listed below:
- It is rather embarrassing that they rely on AR and lip-sync instead of showcasing their natural singing abilities. It would be understandable if they only lip-synced occasionally while being able to sing well, but these girls lack any singing talent at all.
