In the VCT Americas Stage 2 final, Leviatán emerged victorious against G2 Esports, earning the top seed for their region at Valorant Champions.
Despite being defeated by G2 Esports earlier in the tournament, Leviatán managed to bounce back and make it to the grand final after being sent to the lower bracket.
During the second stage of the regular season, Leviatán maintained an impressive performance and remained undefeated, securing the top spot for the Americas at Champions.
Leviatán, Sentinels, G2 Esports, and KRÜ Visa will all be representing the Americas region. However, it was only Leviatán who emerged as the champion of the season, lifting the trophy at the end of the year.
The series was a battle, as the first two maps were tightly contested and even went into double overtime. Despite G2 Esports winning the third map, Leviatán showed their strength and dominated on Ascent, securing a 3-1 victory.

“In the post-match interview, Corbin “C0M”Lee expressed his desire to win at least one trophy this year. Now, with the opportunity to win two, he confidently stated that people may criticize his stats, but the one thing he consistently does is win.”
This marks the organization’s second time participating in Champions, having previously done so in 2022. Although they came close to qualifying for the 2023 Champions, they ultimately fell short in the Last Chance Qualifier, placing second after a 1-3 defeat against KRÜ.
Both Leviatán’s Erick “aspas” Santos and C0M are determined to secure their second Champions title. Aspas achieved his first victory with LOUD in 2022, while C0M attained his with Evil Geniuses in 2023. To this day, no other player has achieved the feat of winning two Champions titles.
Aspas has become the first player to win two Americas trophies with this victory, after previously securing his first with LOUD in 2023.
The Valorant Champions event will commence on August 1 in Seoul, South Korea, taking place at both the COEX Artium and INSPIRE Arena. The top four teams will battle it out at the INSPIRE Arena for the championship title.
