Li Yongzhi updated his personal Twitter yesterday, sharing his views on the sudden increase in knife wielding incidents recently, and received many likes.

Li Yongzhi wrote: “Because of things like waving a knife, friends will start to worry if they can’t contact for more than seven or eight hours. It’s really annoying. It’s really not cool to run around with a knife. It’s better to use that knife Go home and cut cucumbers.”

What upsets Li Yongzhi is the recent series of knife-wielding and foretold wounding incidents in South Korea. On the 21st of last month, someone randomly stabbed people with a knife at the Xinlin subway station in Seoul, resulting in 1 death and 3 injuries. On the 3rd of this month, another crime was committed in Seohyeon-dong, Bundang District, Seongnam City. The suspect (22 years old) drove his car onto the sidewalk near AK Plaza, causing 1 death and 4 injuries; Wielding a murder weapon with a customer, 9 people were injured, 8 of whom were seriously injured.

Subsequently, many posts claiming that they would wield a knife at a certain place quickly appeared on the Internet. As of noon on the 6th, the South Korean police had arrested 46 posters across the country, most of whom were minors, claiming that they uploaded “killing notices”. ’ Just kidding, a copycat mentality, and curiosity about how much attention you’ll get. One of the posters is an active military officer who has been handed over to the gendarmerie by the police.

Due to the uneasy atmosphere caused by successive incidents, the sales of self-defense products have risen sharply recently, and many people feel uneasy. Li Yongzhi’s speech can be said to express everyone’s aspirations.

In addition, Li Yongzhi announced on the latest episode of his personal YT channel “Although I didn’t prepare any dishes”on August 4th that he had collected 75 million won from the peripheral sales of the second season program plus 100 million won from his own pocket. Recently, it has been donated to the victims of floods; on the 13th of last month, it was also revealed through Twitter that it would replace the ice bucket challenge with a donation of 10 million won for the construction of Korea’s first ALS nursing hospital.
