On October 21 (local time), reports from ABC News and several other global news agencies indicated that Liam Payne had various narcotics, including crack and cocaine, present in his system.
The investigation into Liam Payne’s body uncovered the presence of multiple substances, such as benzodiazepines and ketamine along with the aforementioned drugs.
Additionally, drug-related equipment was discovered in the hotel room he occupied.
Liam Payne’s remains will be retained in Argentina until the completion of the autopsy.
Payne tragically passed away on October 16 following a fall from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Rising to prominence as a member of the renowned British boy band One Direction, Liam Payne later ventured into a solo career with his debut album released in 2019 after the group’s hiatus in 2015.
He shares a son with his former partner, Cheryl Cole.
