No installment of Call of Duty Zombies would be considered complete without the essential Pack-a-Punch machine. As you progress to higher rounds, this feature becomes crucial and can be quite challenging to locate, particularly in Liberty Falls from Black Ops 6.
In Black Ops 6, players are introduced to two fresh Zombies maps: Terminus and Liberty Falls. Both locales are overrun with ferocious zombies and also boast new GobbleGums, unique Wonder Weapons, and an array of impressive Perks. However, these perks are virtually useless if your weapon remains weak.
This is where the Pack-a-Punch plays a vital role. For those unfamiliar, the Pack-a-Punch machine allows you to enhance your current weapon. You simply pay a fee, insert your weapon, and it emerges with a new design and significantly increased power. Given its importance, the creators of CoD cleverly conceal it at times.
To assist you, here’s how to locate the Pack-a-Punch in Liberty Falls for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, so you can dispatch zombies with style.
Locating the Pack-a-Punch in Liberty Falls
The Pack-a-Punch machine can be found within Hilltop Church, directly ahead from the building’s entrance. This location is best reached from the back of the map where you start your game.
To access the Church, you will need to unlock several gates and navigate around the map, meaning you won’t reach it right at the beginning of the game. However, we were able to get there by round six after paying the relevant gate fees.
If you’re having trouble pinpointing the location, a map is provided below. The red circle marks the Pack-a-Punch, while the blue highlight shows your initial drop location.
To access the Pack-a-Punch, be prepared to travel across the entire map.
Navigating to Hilltop Church
To reach Hilltop Church efficiently, follow these steps. Although it may seem lengthy, this route also grants you access to the Mystery Box along the way:
- Begin by loading into Liberty Falls and unlock the barrier situated between the ice cream parlor and the Fast-forward shop.
- Next, find Olly’s shop, then navigate around it to unlock the gate ahead of you.
- Climb the stairs and continue straight ahead, ascending two flights of stairs shortly after.
- Proceed straight until you encounter a crafting bench, then turn left past the building. Unlock the door in front of you.
- Find the front of the church and gain access to the main entrance.
- Make your way to the back of the church to use the Pack-a-Punch machine.
Step 1: Unlock the first barrier
You will start on a rooftop. Look straight ahead, and you should see the church you need to reach.
Drop down and head towards the barrier situated between the ice cream store and the Fast-forward shop. It’s near a “Rest”sign and a flaming oil tanker. This barrier costs 1,500 points to unlock, so be prepared to eliminate a few zombies first.
Step 2: Unlock the barrier to Olly’s shop
After entering, we recommend moving right, just past the crafting station. The Mystery Box can be found wedged between two buildings and behind a bus. You’ll want to acquire a weapon to upgrade before making your way to the Pack-a-Punch.
Once you have a suitable weapon, circle back around to Olly’s shop and proceed to unlock the next barrier, costing 1,750 points.
Step 3: Ascend the stairs
Once past the gate, head up the stairs and continue straight. You’ll encounter two additional flights of stairs to climb. After ascending those, look for a crafting station and make a left turn.
You’re on the right path if you find yourself walking between a house and a grassy brick wall.
Step 4: Unlock the cemetery gate
At the end of this pathway, you’ll find another barrier, which opens up access to the cemetery. Approach this gate and unlock it for 2,000 points.
While it may feel like a substantial cost, by this time, you should be around wave four. Eliminate nearby zombies, and unlock the gate when feasible.
Step 5: Enter the Church
Upon unlocking the gate, you’ll find yourself nearly inside the Church, though a mystical barrier stands in your way. Fortunately, your points will lift this barrier just as with the previous gates.
This barrier requires 2,250 points to unlock, but there is ample space to dispatch more zombies if needed.
Step 6: Upgrade your weapon with Pack-a-Punch
Once inside Hilltop Church, the Pack-a-Punch machine will be directly ahead of you at the back of the room.
Despite its somewhat ragged appearance, the machine functions perfectly. Simply select your weapon, place it in the machine, and receive your upgrade in return.
Pack-a-Punch Upgrade Costs
The first weapon upgrade through Pack-a-Punch costs 5,000 points, while the second and third upgrades will set you back 15,000 and 30,000 points, respectively.
Fortunately, the costs for utilizing the Pack-a-Punch appear consistent with previous Black Ops titles.
As a reminder, every new weapon upgrade will initially cost 5,000 points, so there’s no need to hold back on your eliminations or weapon use in that aspect.
