Overall Strongest Build in Lies of P

In Lies of P, being a Soulslike game, the optimal build is determined by your chosen path, creating multiple possible styles. Therefore, we identify three standout builds focused on Motivity, Technique, and Advanced skills. If we had to endorse a single build, it would be the Electric Fate build detailed below.

If you seek pure strength or are new to Soulslike games, this is an excellent choice for surviving the game’s challenges. This build merges brute power with elemental attacks while sacrificing speed. Although alternative builds can effectively combine speed with elemental damage, we consider this the best option for beginners.

Preparing Your Build

Lies of P initiates players with three unique paths: the Path of the Sweeper, Bastard, and Cricket, each aligning with different playstyles. For optimal results, choose the path that resonates with you before developing the rest of your build.

Keep in mind, you won’t immediately have access to these builds at the start of Lies of P, as you’ll need to unlock various weapons and items throughout your adventure. Fortunately, by selecting the appropriate path and focusing on the necessary stats, skills, and weapon types early on, you can work toward crafting your build.

This way, you won’t be at a significant disadvantage while waiting to acquire premium gear. Even before unlocking the top-tier equipment, you’ll still have a formidable build. Although no definitive meta exists for Lies of P, the builds below are among the most powerful we’ve explored and are extremely effective.

Best Motivity Build in Lies of P

The optimal Motivity build (Strength) is our Electric Fate build. It’s robust and utilizes electric shock damage alongside raw strength. This approach prevents the all-too-common pitfall that many novice Soulslike players encounter: creating a strength-focused build solely based on power and health while neglecting critical offensive abilities, or attempting to strike a balance that leads to a lackluster “Jack of all trades” character.

To create the Electric Fate build, select the Path of the Sweeper and prioritize your Motivity, Vigor, and Vitality to secure adequate strength, stamina, and health. It’s equally important to develop your Capacity to equip heavier gear as you progress. While you can bypass Technique for this build, consider investing a few points in Advanced to optimize your secondary offensive skills. This unique combination strengthens your electric attacks.

You can purchase the Electric Chainsaw from the Wandering Merchant after defeating the King of Puppets. Until then, utilize the Greatsword of Fate handle with any other compatible weapons for a Motivity build. It’s beneficial to enhance your electric attacks while anticipating the Chainsaw’s integration. Combine both when feasible for a powerful weapon that will fry and slice your adversaries.

For your Legion Arm, opt for Fulminis to imbue your attacks with electricity. However, feel free to switch to Aegis once you acquire the Electric Chainsaw, depending on how much you wish to rely on Advanced skills or electric damage. The Chainsaw might be sufficient on its own.

For the endgame setup, aim for the following gear:

Handle and Blade: Greatsword of Fate Handle with the Circular Electric Chainsaw Blade (along with the Motivity Crank)
Legion Arm: Fulminis, Aegis
Amulets: Nameless Carrier’s Amulet, Leaping Amulet (increasing max weight capacity and stamina)
P-Organs to prioritize: Increase Pulse Cells, Pulse Cell Recovery

Electric attacks are extremely effective against most robotic foes.

Best Technique Build in Lies of P

We introduce the Tyrant Zapper build, which requires selecting the Path of the Bastard. This build focuses on high speed and damage output to inflict maximum damage before deftly evading attacks, making it perfectly suited for no-damage runs. Although you won’t unlock the Tyrant Murderer’s Dagger until later in the game, maintain your attack prowess using the Wintry Rapier Handle and upgrade it as much as possible.

You can access the Puppet String Legion Arm quite early, allowing you to set up the foundation for this build shortly after your first boss fight. The Puppet String Arm grants you the ability to pull enemies toward you, stunning and controlling the battlefield in ways other Legion Arms do not.

Focus on leveling up Technique, Capacity, and Vigor to maintain agility and agility against bosses. Feel free to ignore Motivity, but don’t neglect a few points in Vitality and Advanced to ensure you have enough stamina and that your electric strikes deliver significant damage. You’ll become a seamless blend of speed and devastating force.

By the endgame, equip the following items:

Handle and Blade: Tyrant Murderer’s Dagger Handle with the Electric Coil Stick Head (along with the Technique Crank)
Legion Arm: Puppet String
Amulets: Dancing One’s Amulet, Iron Wall Amulet (boosting dodging ability and defense)
P-Organs to prioritize: Increase Stagger Duration, Enhance Fatal Attack ATK

Best Advanced Build in Lies of P

This build combines elements from the two previous options, with a stronger emphasis on electric damage. While other elemental options like Acid and Fire exist, electric attacks remain the most potent and effective, leading us to focus on this element. That said, this build can also be adapted to use other elemental attacks by switching out your weapon and Legion Arm accordingly. Your enhancements to Advanced skills and elemental damage will remain effective regardless of your choice.

We’ll refer to this build as the Electro Tyrant, merging classic Dexterity attacks with massive elemental damage. Again, select the Path of the Bastard for this quintessential Dex build. Utilize the top Technique weapon, the Tyrant Murderer’s Dagger, along with the electric Coil Stick Head. However, if the electric focus feels excessive, you can switch the Electric Coil Head for a blade more suitable for Technique-focused builds; your goal remains to create a superpowered Advance build.

To maximize your electric potential, use Fulminis as your Legion Arm, though you’re welcome to switch it out if you believe you’re delivering enough Advanced damage. Prioritize upgrades to Advance, Technique, and Vigor, while not neglecting your Capacity and Vitality. This build essentially embodies Lies of P’s closest equivalent to an elemental battle mage.

By the end of the game, maintain the following gear setup:

Weapon: Tyrant Murderer’s Dagger Handle with the Electric Coil Stick Head (along with the Advance Crank)
Legion Arm: Fulminis
Amulets: Triumvirate Amulet, Transformation Amulet (boosting Legion Arm abilities and Advance)
P-Organs to prioritize: Increase Stagger Duration, Enhance Fatal Attack ATK
