Lil Tay, known for her viral videos showcasing her lavish lifestyle, first gained fame in childhood by “flexing”on her critics with hefty amounts of cash and luxury cars.
In 2023, her social media accounts were compromised, leading to false claims of her death; now, a year later, fans are worried that something troubling may be occurring in Tay’s personal life.
On September 11, 2024, Lil Tay’s X account made two alarming posts, igniting panic among followers. The first post stated: “We have devastating news about Tay.”

Three hours later, another post urged: “Please pray for Tay. We will be updating you as more information becomes available.”

Netizens flooded the comments section with concern for the star’s wellbeing, while some expressed skepticism, stating they won’t fall for another “hoax.”

A similar incident emerged in the summer of 2023, when Tay’s Instagram account was allegedly hacked, falsely announcing that both she and her brother had passed away. The hackers had posted: “It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing.”
Later, it was confirmed that this episode was a complete “hoax,” with Tay and her brother alive and well. Tay accused her father of orchestrating the hoax and claimed he abused her, allegedly hoping to profit from it as part of a cryptocurrency scam.
Following this tumultuous period, Tay made a comeback on social media, launching a new music career and remaining active on her X account. However, these latest posts have stirred both concern and speculation among viewers.
