Rapper Lil Tjay, known for hits like Calling My Phone and Pop Out, has publicly criticized streamer Adin Ross, dubbing him “racist”after Ross accused him of drug use. This exchange unfolded on social media late on November 5, when Ross shared screenshots of their Instagram conversations.
Details of the Controversy
In the messages, Tjay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, expressed his frustration, stating, “D**k sucker … lol you two … Imma show you lil n****s.” This comment was aimed at both Ross and fellow streamer Kai Cenat, who is currently hosting a subathon in an effort to reclaim his title as the top subscribed Twitch streamer.
Adin Ross’s Response
In response to Tjay’s comments, Ross characterized the rapper’s behavior as “tweaking” and emphasized that he and Kai always support him. He suggested that Tjay should “stop taking them percs [Percocets]” as they were affecting his mental state:

Tjay’s Video Reaction
Following the exchange, Lil Tjay released a video addressing Ross’s comments, expressing his outrage. “I don’t take percs,”he asserted. “I might sip a little lean now and then, but actually less than you! F**king racist … I look like I take percs because I’m black, right?” Tjay went on to reveal that he attempted to send Ross a voice note referring to him as a “culture vulture,” but Ross ignored it, stating he was preoccupied with election coverage.

The Aftermath
Tjay concluded his video by reiterating that Ross’s suggestion to stop taking percocets was racially charged. As of now, both Adin Ross and Kai Cenat have yet to publicly address these allegations. Meanwhile, Kai continues his ‘Mafiathon’ and recently featured rapper Kodak Black on his stream, who also faced drug-related accusations during the session.
