On August 6th, Sung Si-kyung’s YouTube channel featured a video with actress Lim Ji-yeon as a guest.
In the video, Lim Ji-yeon inquired with Sung Si-kyung whether his sweet voice alters depending on the circumstance. He replied, stating that he unconsciously uses a particular tone when conversing with his family on a daily basis, and he notices a slight variation when he is with his friends. Sung Si-kyung also mentioned that he changes his tone when speaking to a girl he has feelings for, as he does not feel the same level of endearment towards others as he does towards his girlfriend.
During an interview, Lim Ji-yeon asked Sung Si-kyung with curiosity, “As a fan who was moved by your performance of ‘Good night’, I wonder if you use any special techniques to add more charm to your voice when talking to the opposite sex or in certain situations.” To which, Sung Si-kyung replied, “I don’t have any secret weapons like that. In fact, I struggle to sing well if I try to use such tactics.” He further explained, “For instance, if I wrote a song for my girlfriend, I can sing it to her with genuine feelings. But if someone just asks me to sing randomly, it becomes awkward and I can’t perform as well as I do as a singer
Afterwards, Sung inquired of Lim Ji-yeon, “Have you ever serenaded someone?”Lim Ji-yeon replied, “I still have the desire to sing to my significant other. I have previously suggested, ‘I adore this song, let’s rehearse and perform it as a duet’ when I came across a captivating tune or lyrics. Whenever I stumbled upon a mesmerizing duet, I would exclaim, ‘Isn’t it wonderful? I would love for us to sing it together’ to my partner.”
At present, Lim is in a relationship with actor Lee Do-hyun, who is currently a member of the Air Force military band.
