Linus Tech Tips has recently disclosed the results of their inquiry into the accusations made against them in 2023. They have stated that the claims made by a former employee were mostly baseless, deceptive, and unjust.
On May 23, 2024, LTT’s X (formerly Twitter) page announced that a third party, Vancouver-based law firm Roper Greyell, had conducted an investigation immediately after the accusations were brought to light.
LTT’s statement asserts that the investigation revealed no proof to support the claims of workplace bullying and sexual harassment.

The inquiry into LTT’s workplace concluded that there was no evidence to support claims of bullying and harassment. Additionally, it refuted any allegations that sexual harassment had been overlooked or neglected.
Linus Tech Tips: Allegations Not Substantiated After Investigation
The alleger was not satisfied with the performance feedback and they further clarified that there was no proof of any abuse of power involved.
During her time with LTT, Madison Reeve, the person who made the allegations, stated that she had been inappropriately grabbed multiple times and had experienced multiple sexist remarks.
The individuals also alleged that they received disciplinary action for using sick days and that their managers dismissed their struggles with mental health, criticizing them for having inadequate time management skills.
Reeve first appeared on LTT in a PC building tutorial, which is one of the channel’s highest-viewed videos.

LTT clarified that Linus Media Group will continue to make improvements to their workplace policies and provide education for their team. They also stated that while they have a strong basis for a defamation lawsuit, they have chosen not to pursue it.
The statement reads that we strongly believe our case for a defamation suit would be strong, but our main desire is to move past this situation. We are hopeful that this will be the outcome.
In August 2023, a string of accusations began when Gamers Nexus publicly criticized LTT for the accuracy and ethical concerns surrounding their content. In the midst of the ensuing public backlash, former employee Reeve came forward with allegations of mistreatment, poor working conditions, and sexism.
In response to the controversy, LTT’s channel adjusted its upload schedule to decrease the amount of content being released and prioritize quality. The channel also revealed plans to launch an investigation into the allegations in August 2023.
