Lisa’s ‘ROCKSTAR’ Stands Strong Despite Plagiarism Controversy, Nominated in 4 Categories at U.S. Music Awards

According to the VMA website’s partial list of nominees, released on the 6th (local time), Lisa has received four nominations for her solo track “ROCKSTAR”: Best K-Pop, Best Choreography, Best Art Direction, and Best Editing.

Jungkook from BTS has received two nominations for his song “Seven,”which features American rapper Latto, in the categories of Best Collaboration and Best K-Pop.

LE SSERAFIM’s hit song “EASY”has been nominated for PUSH Performance of the Year.

The PUSH Performance of the Year is a recognition bestowed upon one of the artists showcased in MTV’s monthly “MTV PUSH”campaign, which highlights performance videos and other content.

Lisa and Jungkook are accompanied by NCT DREAM, NewJeans, Stray Kids, and TXT in the Best K-Pop category with their songs “Smoothie,””Super Shy,””S-Class,”and “Deja Vu”respectively.

The UBS Arena in New York will host this year’s VMA on September 10.
