How to enter promo codes through the Pokémon Go app
If you’re using an Android device, it’s a relatively simple process.
All you have to do is open the Pokémon Go app, tap the menu button (the PokéBall icon), tap Shop, then swipe down.
There you will find a space to enter the code and collect your items.
Unfortunately, iOS doesn’t have this option. This means iPhone users will have to redeem the codes through a web browser.
How to enter promo codes through a web browser
To do this, you must first visit the official Niantic code redemption website. You will have three options to log in: Google, Facebook or Niantic Kids.
You will need to sign in with Google, Facebook or Niantic Kids.
The credentials will be the same credentials you use to log in to the Pokémon Go app. The next page to load will allow you to enter the promo code and, if accepted, you will be presented with a message. indicating that the items have been added to your inventory.
However, there is no option to connect with Pokémon Trainer Club. This means that iPhone users who only have Pokémon Trainer Club credentials cannot currently redeem Pokémon Go codes.
